OK here's the poop:
Love's Truck Stop in Hillsboro and will KSU at 9:30 am Thursday morning April 23. We need to be as prompt as possible to that time so get there a little early if possible. It's almost if not a 7 hour ride, back road from the to Bandera so... There's a great hamburger joint there in Hamilton for those of you that would like to get some lunch, it will also be a fuel stop. There will be another fuel stop in Llano and Kerrville.
Please let me know that your riding with us, you'll have a good ride, should be nice flowers, and fun to boot.
If you say your coming and for some reason you can't make that time please be courteous and let me know, even if it's 9:30am that morning, if your running a bit late, call and tell us and we'll wait a reasonable amount of time. I will check my e-mail for the last time about 8:30 that morning

Take exit 368B (Hiway 22 exit off I-35 in Hillsboro and at the bridge make a left, Loves is right there. I'll be there starting at 8:30. Looking for ya!

Hooter, I will meet up in Emory with the Millers Cove bunch at 730, then we'll ride to Loves in H town to meet ya'll. I'll have to leave at 6:15 at the latest from home to get to Emory at 7:30. 2 hr from Emory to your stop in Hillsboro.

Hmmm, and I was getting corrected for Cove instead of grove??? At least I spelled cove correctly even if it was supposed to be grove. Millers cove is about only 45 miles from here. If the rain is going to be pelting me the whole way down, I may take the shorter quicker route down. Scenic routes aren't too good in the rain, lol.

You guys be careful on the way down. They are resurfacing 16 just south of Fredericksburg, and the section near the switchbacks south of Kerrville were full of sand, gravel and BIG ROCKS. We went thru there today at about 10 mph trying to dodge them. I think we will take 173 to Kerrville tomorrow and skip the bad areas.

IMO. 16 from Kerrville to Medina is more technical than the sisters just isn't as long.
