so back during the time of the Roman Empire, Ceasar was set to invade Scotland. As he approached he saw this lone Scottish warrior standing atop of a hill. He was taunting and swearing " Come fight me you Roman bastards , I'll slay you all" Ceasar sends up 10 of his legionaires to confront the lone Scot. As they fade into the trees he hears cursing and screams and the clashing of sword on flesh. Directly 10 Roman heads come rolling down the hill and there stands the Scot unscathed. " Come fight you roman dogs, I'll kill you all." Ceasar dispatches 100 legionaires, "Bring me his head " he orders. Again the Romans disappear into the forestand again ,the clash of steel and cries of agony and again Roman heads roll down the hill.Again the lone Scot appears hardly touched. " Is that your best?" Come fight you roman sons of bicthes. I'll slaughter the lot of ye. " Ceasar , now is really pissed. He sends 1000 of his finest Centurions up the hill. Again the sounds of swords clashing and screams from the hill. One bloodied roman manages to stagger down the hill. " Ceasar" he says. Don't send anymore men. It's a trap". There's really two of them."
A Scottish friend told me this over the weekend. I thought it was cute.
