Jeff, This may hurt, but, you are not too young for a wing. Unless the FJR1300 will clock more than 143 & 148 (SAPD radar tests on GW's), you will be very very happy with the GW. I'm told the GW rides just just like a sport bike and in some cases better because it is heavier than the Sport Bikes. I know from the little I have ridden mine that it doesn't steer/handle anything like my cruiser.Besides if you get a sporty you can only ride one up and with the GW you will always have room for your girl friend. Jerry ps. it holds more gas than the VTX
