Glad you're ok. Reminds me, last summer I was running down a back road at about 40 mph, I ran through the middle of a swarm of honey bees. Pulled over, got all the dead ones and others off of me. Did not receive one sting, and I did not have riding gear on. Thank you Lord! It happened so fast, all I could do was tense up.

Wow, that sucks.  Did you literally give yourself a shot?  If so, good thing you were prepared and good job keeping composure and stopping safely.

Glad to hear you had your shot with you. Another reason to ride with your visor down (speaking from experience  ;)) Is sometimes when you are flying down the 45 if the visor is at just the right angle the wind can/will and did rip the visor right off your helmet. Yeah but I still ride with it up I like the to feel the wind but just not enough not not wear a helmet.

Took a bug right between the eyes on FM2004 yesterday. Good thing my visor was down or I'd have two black eyes this morning and blaming it on Lucky.  :couch:

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

That's not a freak thing that happen. It happens all the time you are lucky man that has been warned to not ride with the bugs and bees , hornets and thing that string you. Here is a set of Wings to protect you if you want to ride with open face guard.

What face shield?  I don't always run into the bugs while riding, but when I do....I use my fist to block them.
