1300c back firing on decelleration

got a 1300c 07 vtx b
started backfiring got a jet kit in it was running good except for accasional backfire now backfires a lot I moved the tank back to install chrome neck covers air sucktion line came off behind petcock started it up started backfiring its at Honda trying to figure it out any help appreciated thanks

Good start would be to check all the vacuum lines, if the one to the petcock came off with removing the tank another may have came off or have a leak, I replaced all my vacuum lines with silicon about 2 years ago and don't regret it a bit.  :thumbup:
Just worth looking into  ???

Another thing to check is exhaust bolts , loose bolts will cause back firing and popping

Check the plugs also.
