Looking for a Needle in a Haystack
« on: December 14, 2015, 03:20:06 PM »

Just checking to see if anyone just happens to have a rear heat shield for a set of V & H Bigshots for a '03 1800C. I lost mine last year during some strong winds, after a couple of the clamps had rusted out. I modified my exhaust & cut up some Harley heat shields to fit but think it would look a lot better with the factory shield.

I've made contact with a guy on the VTXOA that has one of these brand new, still in the box. We have agreed on a price so all I need to do is go out to my money tree and get the money together.  LOL

Needles are more expensive than they used to be.

I found mine along the side of the road. Someone had thrown it out like a Christmas tree.

I forgot to let everyone know that I found a guy on the VTXOA that just so happened to have a brand new one still in the box so I got it off him for about half of what V&H wanted. I cut it down to fit the exhaust I now have. Just have 1 seem instead of 3 or 4.
