Yes. It will be on Friday, around 6:30-7:00 at the Spot. (upstairs,like before)

Wish we were going but Mae Dae will be recovering from Gall Bladder surgery. Y'all have fun and raise a few beers for me.

Just a word of caution for those that are comming to Galveston down I45 to the rally.They have begun work on I45 again from south of the Beltway 8 to past FM 2351 Dixie Farm Road.The plan is to make it 10 lanes so depending on what is going on expect construction slowdowns and extra traffic.

Do you think that traffic will be around on a thursday around 2pm? That's when I'm headed down there.

It should not be to bad but it slows down a good bit and in the afternoon at rush hour it is worse than normal

Hoping to get the day off Friday and get on the road early Friday morning and hopefully we can make to a M&G Friday night if that happens.. Staying at my sister's house again in League City. Hope to spend most of the day on the island on Saturday, it all depends on what time the LSU vs Bama game kicks off.

It looks like next year they are going to close down part of Seawall Blvd again for the rally.

I have liked it better without Seawall being closed. Seems less obtrusive to non-rallygoers to me.

I work Galveston alot and have spoken to many of the businesses there. They tell me that the rally is their favorite event of the year because the bikers come to have a good time, spend a lot of money, don't complain about prices and are generally respectful. They hate the Mardi Gras because the participants are generally younger, there to just get drunk and don't have any cash.

I know I have dropped alot of cash and I think I might have been drunk a time or two.... :ohwow: I look forward to this rally every year. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Michelle and I are really looking forward to the rally. This is the first time her and I have been able to spend the whole time down there since 2007 because of having babies. We can wait to hang out with all our old friends and to meet some new one. See Ya There! :c :c
