I'm glad ya'll are okay, too.  The bikes can be repaired easier than you can.  Heal yourselves up quickly!

What matters most is that you all walked away. I hope the healing process isn't too uncomfortable and I hope that you all got checked out if anything is real sore. Sherri, if you took three good shots in the helmet you might still should let a doctor check out your neck and upper back.

I was riding tailgun.  I saw the whole thing.  Sherri did about four cartwheels, the last three are when she hit her head.  She launched so high nothing ever touched the ground during the first loop.  It was an incredible sight to see.

My neck didn't hurt until today, I have pretty good range of motion though. I had these types of injuries before, there is not alot you can do for them.  I figured I'd see how I felt tomorrow before I  go to the Dr. I've been doing hot tub and muscle relaxers.

Hey, Jason just told me about you two.  What exactly happened?  I'm glad to hear you guys are OK and able to walk away.  Definitely take advantage of the hot bath soaks to help relax your muscles.  Jason has good massage hands that are available if you need 'em, and he still charges the same rate as for his computer services, but it's worth it!   :D

I absolutely agree with the helmet, law or no law.  After seeing some of the sport bike stunts gone bad, I sometimes have a hard time not wearing my Joe Rocket.  Take care you guys!! 8)

First time on the board since last Thursday.  Glad you two are only bruised.  I too, know the benefit of a helmet.  After ending up face down in gravel I will not wear anything but a full face.

I'm glad everyone was able to walk or at least limp away. I hope your bruises heal quickly without too much discomfort.

I showed up at a campsite where 4 of my biker co-workers were staying. We were going on a morning ride to get breakfast. Two of the guys that were supposed to ride waved me on and said "We can't make this one". My boss started his bike and looked at me and said "A lot of people 'own' motorcycles".

Sherri,

I've already talked with Marigold by phone but haven't yet expressed to you my sadness about the accident or my relief that both you and she apparently escaped serious injury.  You're right . . . it could happen to anyone.  Hopefully, it will prompt us all to be more cautious on the road when it has just started to rain, and it will further demonstrate to everyone the value of protective riding gear.  Hope that you and your bike are both back up and running very soon!
