Seems like a fair price to start with but keep in mind you might not get that since the bike is wrecked and damaged. You will get offered less. The fairing and Harley pipes on a VTX add no value to it so just base your price on the bike alone. Most likely someone will probably just toss those parts away since they may be damaged. The person looking to buy your product is the person that is willing to put in the labor but are looking for a stellar deal. With that said if you need it gone fast be very open to a lesser amount if offered.
Forget NADA. Check craigslist and see what's on there. Will give you a good idea. You might sell it faster if you pull off the aftermarket stuff especially the damaged parts and take it back to original. If it doesn't look broke you will probably have a better shot at getting your asking price. JMO GLWS

I hit some gravel in a turn in October, jammed my knee and ankle a bit, didn't lay it down. I was lucky...my buddy behind me said he had no idea how I kept the bike from going down...neither do I. The only reason my foot hit the ground is because it was so close it was my foot or possibly a knee. Gravel sucks.
