New to the world of VTX

Hello All,
Just a quick post to introduce myself. My girlfriend and I just acquired a VTX1800 Retro (our first road bike) and are having a blast with it. Picked it up last Friday about this same time then woke up last Saturday morning and headed for destinations unknown. Left our home in Montgomery, TX and 227 miles on Saturday later ended up in the hill country, got a room in Marble Falls Saturday night and found an awesome like Italian restaurant. Sunday morning got up and went north to Buchanan Lake, over to Llano, down past Enchanted Rocks park to Fredericksburg, then thru Luckenbach, Blanco, over to see friends and swim on the Guadelupe river below Canyon Lake Dam (burrrrr it was cold) and after 328 miles, ended back up in Montgomery, TX with sore butts. Now spending money for relocating passenger foot pegs, Mean City Cycle seat mods, CNC back rest for me.
Anyway, would like to hear from others in the area that would like to get together and ride for an afternoon, day, weekend, whatever.
Keep it upright.

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.
