I will probably be signing up.  Just got a ticket last night going to Beaumont from a state trooper for doing 84 on a 65.   :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :banghead:

make sure you get approval from the court before you take the class

almost got a speeding ticket last night on 225!  Came over the bridge, doing 78 (in a 65), right before the exit for Richey.  Pasadena cop was sitting on the side of the road, thank god my light lit up his reflective paint on the side of his car when I came over the hill  He stood out like a sore thumb!

quick "tap" of the front brakes...  he put his foot on his brake peddle (like you have to do to shift the car into gear) turning on his brake lights right at the same time....   we then eyeballed each other as i went past still doing 67 on the gps....

got lucky i guess.

Yeah Bryce, when we were coming down 225 a little ahead of you there were two cop cars both of which had someone pulled over...their kitty was empty so they were out gathering funds last night.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

Nahhh I just got off deferred where I had to be good for 90 days and that was it from Palmer,TX. No sooner was that done I was surrounded in Bulverde. I just got the letter from attorney that said class and 60 days. I didn't think you'd be on probation if you got to take the class, so that SUX!!!!

Works great as long as they're shooting other cars ahead as warning. :P

Some years back I signed up for a defensive driving class. The class started at 0800.  There was one other guy in the class who was going to only be there for the first half of the class. About 0810 the instructor turned on a video than about 15 mins. later she turned on another one. About 0845 she came out of her office gave us our class completion paperwork and told us she had other things to do that day.  By 0930 I was teeing off at Bear Creek golf course.  It was a wonderful day for golf.

Chances are, they are. And certainly works better than anything other than driving the speed limit.
