Texas X Riders

Chad I rode with you to my first BBT way back then and was a rider down next year with DFW and received rider down fund from everyone and at time it kept me afloat . Slid on cold pavement loose gravel on a curve hit guard rail broke both legs was careflighted and riders met me at hospital . Had a stroke afterwards ended my riding days . Was around to help with bylaws for the club were established . So my opinion dont really matter only want the best needed  . I just look in every once in awhile to bring back great memories . So I will  be watching and hope if change is needed it all goes well .

Due to various things, Wayne and I are pretty sure our MC days are over.
We have sold our bikes recently and have a few items to also get rid of.
1. Two front wheel MC chocks that we have mounted to a board which fits across the bed of our full sized pickup. We were able to fit our two bikes in the bed at the same time. My bike was a 1300, Wayne's was an 1800. These chocks can be removed from the board and used in other scenarios if desired, but we prefer to sell them as a pair. $50 each or pair $90
2. PepsX MC stand. $75
3. 108" Black Widow 3-Piece Heavy Duty Folding Arched Motorcycle Ramp. One wide ramp and two narrow ramps. When you put all 3 together they covered most of the tailgate of our full sized pickup. In this set up you can easily ride your bike up and have plenty of feet room on each side if needed, especially when unloading. You can use each ramp independently also. $300

I am not going to ship any of this, but meet ups can be arranged.  We live between San Antonio and Austin.

Oct 30 I was hacked on Facebook and couldn't get me account back. I had to make a new FB account and send out new friend requests. So if you get one dont be alarmed that it's the hacker. IT'S ME!!
 

 The choice of having a website that you can control or a site that draws more people to.
I have been here a long time, since 2005 and seen alot happen good and bad with the website. Only thing that stays the same is change. That is the biggest thing that everyone would have to get adjusted to not having a place that is just for us. 
 If the site is ended that would save money for which the Texasxriders  bank is probably getting low since we haven't had a BBT in two years to help the fund.
 I visit here and FB. FB more because of all the other things.
 Just have waver the Pros and Cons.

I rarely come here and not for lack of wanting to but I've been very busy lately and visiting website forums has gone to the wayside for me.  I don't visit any forums anymore unless I'm specifically looking for tech info. 

I'd say let it go, save the money and plan for a hell of a hoorah!!

Gumbo...I don't necessarily disagree with how FB works.  I know how to get hold of you.

i left FB for a while, just came back and leaving again, it sucks.

I would rather go with FB.  Even tho I am not on there a lot, I am not there more than here.

It seems that everyone is doing FB/meta and I personally have no desire to get on FB. But I'm a paranoid luddite when it comes to FB. I've seen Lucky get adds on FB for things I've searched on my own computer.

I'm the minority on this, I'm sure.
