Ride Saturday 1/27?????????????????????????

The weather forecast for Saturday January 27 is sunny, dry with temperatures in the mid to upper 60's and no football games scheduled.  Does that suggest anything to anybody?     ::) Let me see, mow the grass? Nope grass hasn't grown in several months. Wash the car? Nope, could run it through the car wash in 5 minutes?  Watch football? Nope, no games on.  Honey do list? Nope, could postpone that to Sunday since there is no football.  Do my taxes? Nope, got till April 17 this year.  Gee, I wonder whats left to do on Saturday?

I think I am going to take advantage by rolling my bike down to the end of the driveway, see if starts and then let it idle for a few minutes.  ;)

If the dealership receives my tires today and I can get them replaced, will consider doing the same.

Looks like I'm not going to make it this weekend.  Went by the dealership,had the front tire,but the rear tire will not be in till Tuesday. Will have to what till next weekend.  Don't want to attempt any long rides till I get the new tires.  Y'all ride safe.

Latest SA update is rain tonight and tomorrow morning, clearing by noonish.

Well, it looks like rain overnight and then clearing with increasing sun towards dawn.  Will just have to play it by ear tomorrow and see what happens.   :-\

just to let everyone know that there is a PGR ride in the area tomorrow. it's an escort mission for the pilot from pflugerville that died recently. the meet up point is at the Exxon station at the corner of FM 973 and Hwy 71 at 12:30 with kick stands up at 1:30. i'm going to try to make it work permitting. they will be ecorting the body from ABIA to pflugerville. you will actually ride the bike out on to the tarmac to meet the plane on arrival. word is, there is going to be lots of media with this one. after arrival you will ride escort back to pflugerville. good guess would be that this will take up most of the afternoon. i just hope i can make this one. see y'all and ride safe.
