Hey VTXers,

I know this is not a ride but I thought I would post it here too since it is area specific.

I haven't been around as much as I would like. Mostly because of work, the new house, and lately a flat tire I was too cheap too take in to get changed and too broke to have it done for me. Luckily it is a 1300S, so the tires are tubed.

Anyway I am going to tackle the job this week (if the rain holds off - no garage). The VTX Tech page suggests using a second jack under the rear wheel to make it easier. Does anyone in the Austin area have a motorcycle jack I can borrow or suggestions to make this easier? Or somewhere besides Woods that I might price here in Austin?

I also have a jack and a set of 2X10s, as described on Bears site, that I use under which ever tyre I am not taking off and the kickstand to stabilize everything.  I live in New Braunfels so Jeremy might be the best bet for you.  Never the less your welcome to borrow it.  I am in Houston until late Thursday night so the best bet would be to pick up Friday or anytime over the weekend. If the weather is lousy this weekend I'll be in the garage doing a valve adjustment but won't be needing the jack.

It seems Wayne only lives a few miles from me out here on the Eastside so I will be giving him a call or PM. Thanks for the offers and with a little help from the weather and probably a bloody knuckle or two I will be back on the road.
