well, the more I think about it the better this sounds...  We head out from BBT to the mountains, maybe go hit the 4 corners just to say we went through 4 states during the trip?  let me know what ya'll think of that, and let me know if we should plan out some riding, or just roll with it as we go...

Lets throw our cell phones in the water and burn our tent and just roll with it man. Then we can also blow up a biker bar on the way. O0 O0 O0 :D :D

well, just for the sake of it, I threw together some rough mapping that should easily work on 8 hours a day of riding...

Sunday:  Fredricksburg, TX to somewhere between Roswell and San Antonio...
Monday:  On to 4 corners and find a place to stay
Tuesday:  Las Vegas, NM via Colorado
Wednesday:  Home

Or we could just kick it up around the southern part of New Mexico and relax and ride the great roads all over there...  I'm cool either way, and I think the latter is the better idea really...  That way home isn't as far away...

That's true. been there. We can map something at the BBT that will get you where you want to go, hopefully and I can get back home Wed. afternoon for work that night. I know time wise basically (experence) from Albuquerque home 11 hours hard ride. So we'll lay something out.

I'm in! We could escort Militman and his group back to el paso and then ride up to RD's place for the night! ;D Continue north, then circle back through amarillo area or somewhere. I am putting in for the week off following BBT now. I've made a notice/feeler in the BBT rally area, as this is where most that would come with us will be starting from.

Sounds good, I good the rest of this month; the 1st, 2nd, or 4th weekend in March; the 1st or 4th weekend in April...  We'll have to set a date and invite rbljack, solitaryman, and tom cat...  heck, we might have a West Texas meet n greet in the works.  Caprock isn't too far, but I got a group that would ride out of here with me to hit up rolling thunder for sure (not sure how far that is for you guys though).  Let me know what ya'll think!

I have been trying to set up a ride (have it mapped, just need the weekend) with these guys from work to run out to rolling thunder and around, let me know if you want to hit that place again...
