Welcome to the board Bev.  I'm sure you will get a lot of input since many in this group of derelicts make Big Bend at least once a year.

Post a bit more about yourself such as what you ride, where from, etc.

Hey Bev and Welcome
Can't help you with the lodging part in the park and such but there is in Terlingua (just west of the park) and coming out of the park on the southwest side is Highway 118 that joins up with Highway 170 that will take you there. Take 170 to Presidio for one of the neatest rides around. Excellant scenery with the Rio Grand and all  O0

Welcome to the board beverly. We would "hub" out of Alpine. It's the largest town in that area. You can take some nice day rides around the park, River Road, and up to Fort Davis and the McDonald Observatory.
I don't know about the camping. When I was there it was a little cold at night to be camping out.

Hopefully this will help or at least give you some ideas about how to find what you are looking for.
