Earl-
I'm unsure as to what the real riding time of the route is- I'm going to estimate 4.5 hours. 4 hours for you picking up with us in Mansfield, to put us there at noon or so. Maybe earlier if we make good time- unless we have a lot of fuel/comfort stops it shouldn't be more than a one stop trip. It's really up to you guys though, so let me know what you'd like to do and we can plan it. I don't plan on riding too fast and FM 6 will be slower than the freeways.

See you Saturday morning!

Hey Cheez, I have beenon hwy 6 alot.  We can run 70 to 75 without any trouble.  Alot of the time the posted speed is 70 and some is 65.  I atdhink we can do better tahn 4 hrs.  Let me know what you think about 70 to 75.

Just be careful thru Rosebud on 6; locals always out.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally wornout, shouting..."What a Ride!"

Connie,

I would like to meet up with your group.  When do you think you will be getting to I-10 and 359 in Brookshire?

Earl- Works for me- I'm just trying to be conservative ;)

What's your travel time estimate? 3hrs? I think in any case we'll be in Welborn between 11 and 12.
