Here are the plans I'm putting together:
Take Hwy 6 all the way to Tiki Island then I-45 over the cuaseway.
First Meet up will be at Hwy 6 & I-10 at the Waffle House with a KSU (kick Stands up) @ 8:30 a.m.
Second Stop/Meet up will be @ Hwy 6 & Hwy 288 at the Shell Station on the corner @ 9:15 a.m. We'll pick up any straglers or new people meeting up.
I anticipate heavy traffic at Hwy 6 & Hwy 59. While I'll make a conscious effort to keep everyone together if you get left behind we won't be far off up ahead and don't forget the 288/Hwy6 meet up.
After that the traffic is easy and definitely wide open space. Once we get on the Island anyone can feel free to go in whatever direction they would like. I'll will probably head directly to the Strand to find a parking spot and start working on getting some Carney food.

I plan on attending, not sure of the direction I will take but will let you know. Your plan sounds cool and I am doing the samething, finding parking at the strand and hitting the vendor area. Unless I find a hotel room between now and then I will also be heading back on Saturday.

If I can make this I might be able to escort the group utilizing emergency equipment, I'll let you know as we get closer

I have to revise my comment, I am out unless I have a place to stay. Riding up and back solo in the same day just doesn't seem like a good idea.

Seriously........it's 88 miles one way. Big whoop. That's a third of your gas tank's mileage.

Probably not. Only person that's on the same page as I is my wife. I even tell my really close friends to take a hike and we'll catch up at certain times, but I don't mind the riding. Just keeping with up with people in a crowd like that takes away from my thing.

Looks like the weather for Saturday is going to be a lot warmer and dryer than it showed a few days ago. Good news!! Showing 60F at 5AM up to 72F and zero percent chance of rain.
