That's why there's a seat belt... to protect the person from the cage.

I'll pass on that... I got hit by a car once in a left-turn accident, and the only reason I'm not dead is because I jumped over it. I'm with RedDragon, I ain't strapping myself on, or in, no thanks! Besides, seems to me that when that thing starts flipping end over end you might have a hard time keeping all your pink parts within the interior even if you are strapped in...

I've looked at this a couple of times and I've come to the conclusion that the guy's gal is DEATHLY AFRAID of riding on a bike. She has her own lights on the top bar and her own mirrors to see what's coming up from behind.
Lucky suggested this might be the only way to get her to go riding with him. This makes sense when looking at the lengths the guy went to to get her on the bike.
(Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead holding onto those handlebars.

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

From his site....
"I will also incorporate netting for the passenger sides to keep hand and arms in the seating area, just like race cars."
He claims the frame is "hard to bend." Huh. Wonder what crash testing he's done. People think dark-siders are crazy because we're using something in out-of-purpose application. But at least we can road test what we do.... this guy is throwing a design together and his first test, if the design goes wrong, is going to be VERY BAD. Like he's going to get his own leg amputated.

Hope DPS or NTSB doesn't get wind of this thing, they would probably make it mandatory

looking at it, wouldn't it seem a bit top heavy with that? looks like she is sitting higher than normal, and the weight of the roll cage seems like it would make cornering difficult... but what the hell do I know, I darkside it...
