Texas is a large area, geographically speaking. Might your interest be focused on a specific part of the state, or are you considering riding anywhere in the state?

I am not sure where any of you live but if you would like, myself and friends from the Spring/Woodlands area are riding Sunday the 18th.  First meeting place is a Chevron at Aldine westfield and Spring Cypress at 8:30AM.  Give or take depending on weather and fog.
Picking up 2 at an Academy 45 North at Rayford/Sawdust exit.

To Becca and any others interested in riding.

Sorry for the late response I was getting cut on.  Two at the Academy 45 Ray/Sawdust both will probably be there around 8:30 Heath and a guy named Noah.
First group is meeting up at Cypresswood and the Aldine westfield "Chevron"
I will send out the route a little later tonight and more info on meeting up.

Ok folks,

Anyone wanting to ride is very welcome, it will be a conglomerate of motorcycles.

I and others will be meeting at the Chevron at Cypresswood and Aldine Westfield.  "Spring"
We will then shoot up 45 picking up any and all at the Academy at Rayford/Sawdust.
Proposed route is to Willis then over to 75 then North to H-Ville.
190/30 West to the Gibbons Creek Reservoir and then down through Anderson and either 1774 or back through Richards and the National Forest.  Then back towards the Spring/Woodlands area.
I am not sure how long but any ride is a good ride, I can be reached at 713-858-9821 should anyone need clarification or wondering where we are.

Adopt a Hero for Christmas
Fund Raiser & Fun Run

Soldiers that are wounded will be treated by a few Hospitals in the country.  One these is the Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio.  While at BAMC, the soldiers family will  likely be staying in San Antonio and disconnected from their extended family.

Every year the "Adopt a hero for Christmas" delivers presents and much need items to the families and soldiers that are dislocated to BAMC.  We will deliver these gifts to our soldiers and their families on  December 15, 2007 and will spend the day visiting with them.

The collection of these gifts comes from two main sources,  the Adopt a Hero web site and the Fund Raiser on Nov 17.  This will be a terrific 3 1/2 hour motorcycle run through Waller County, Texas.

You may get more details at:  http://www.AdoptAHero.info on the Nov 17 Fund Raiser or how to donate.

Date:    Saturday Nov 17
Staging Time:  1000 hrs
Staging Location:  35230 Hempstead Rd, Hockley, Texas
Directions:  On the corner of Kemier Rd and Hempstead Hwy.  this intersection is two blocks south of Hwy290 and 3 miles east of FM2920.

1st Bike out at 1100 hrs, Last Bike in 1600 hrs

If any of you X-ers were going to meet up with my group tomorrow, call my cell on the 11/15 post.
Rain could de-rail our plans.

Depending on how the weather is and how tired I am when I get off of work, I may go on this ride as well.
