Well it's getting closer to that time of year O0
What are your plans for this years rally?
I have one thing to do at this years rally "PARTY"

What about the other thing you are suppose to do? I guess that would fall into the "Party" category also. O0 O0

Before the comments start about "the other thing", Paul is working on getting the upstairs area at the Spot for our meet and greet this year. I spoke with him last week and found out that Chico's closed, so we had to find a location to accomidate our group. O0 Thanks Paul! O0 O0 O0

I'll be there again this year. I guess I'd better get busy and find a place to stay. If there's a place where X-Riders are going to party, that's where I'll be.

If I can jump in, Friday night will be a hoot on the Strand and Sea Wall (Halloween night!). Is the party set for Sat.?

hey da, what day are you leaving to go down there. i'm leaving on thursday with a group of about 30 - 40. we're all meeting up at the ice house in ft worth, then leaving from there. you otta roll with us. it'll be a party the whole ride down there! ;-)

thats still up in the air, but it will more than likely be pretty early. last year we KSUed at about 9. I should have my new scoot here in a couple of days 8-) we need to hook up when I get it ;-)

Count me in please. Considering I've missed every doggone planned event this summer due to my accident, I don't plan to miss my first Lone Star Rally!
Only question at the moment is: With the crowds I've heard of, are we able to ride to the "Spot" that Friday night? Or will we be elbowing our way through the masses on foot?

You can ride to it Robert, it is not located inside the Rally area.

Have to say, I imagine this is the last thing on most people's minds right now. However, for entertainment value only, if I were a betting man, I'd wager you might be pushing it to begin your planning for LSR 2009.

My bet would be that its a no go for this year just do not see how they can be up and going 100% in less than 2 months.Even though the web site says its still a go ......go figure.

Lodging will be a MAJOR issue. Not to mention restaurants, plumbing, and, depending on the extent of the damage to the causeway, the ability to get on/off in a relatively easy manner.

If you are going to be riding around the island after a hurricane, you might want to take a couple of extra tires with you...
