Good to hear your doing OK, sort of speaking....I too had an incident a while back (15 years ago) but mine was with antifreeze on the road. Bike slid under a truck, had my leg scratched up pretty bad...but all turned out OK for me...which I am sure for you as well from your details...hope you recover and heal soon..

Ice,  glad you're ok.  I had a cage pull out in front of me a few days ago
in the middle of the day.  It was a testiment to my VTX brakes and a wonder
I didn't hit him.  All he could do was tell me I was #1, like it was my fault.

Good to know you are blessed to be able to tell the story. O0
Hope you get well soon.
I went down this time last year, when a school bus made an illegal left turn and pulled out in front of me and I T-boned it, flew up in the air, landed on my stomach and my X kept going and crashed. Totaled it, but I didn't have a broken bone, a few scratches and sore back and A$$, but i'm back to riding.   You'll be back soon too! :P

It was God and these 38DDD that saved me! ;D ;D

Glad to hear you're okay. Gotta wonder what is going on here these days!?

That's 4 of us X-ers that have gone done just this week due to idiot cagers not paying attention!!!!  >:(

It'll be 2 months before I can ride again!

Be safe out there!  O0

So what is the news on your bike?  How much damage is there?  If I recall correctly you went down to avoid hitting a guy that pulled out in front of you....is he responsible at all, or do you have to bear the total expense?

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

Hope you and the bike are doing well.

Had a blind idiot pull a left turn into me when I was doing 50.  Thank God, I was driving my "sidewayz Harley" (MotoGuzzi).  His bumper went through the engine guard and hit the cylinder.  I flew through my windshield and bounced down the road.  Wouldn't have a left leg if it would've been any other engine layout.  Got on the bike and drive it 130 miles home.  Not a scratch on me (it was in the mid 30's that day and I'd already put 150 miles on it).  Layers saved my Cranberries!

I'd be the idiot out in 100 plus temps with a full face helmet, gloves, armor mesh jacket and leather chaps on.  I hate having to wear that stuff, but I hate skin grafts and pain even more.......

Was run off the road three times in Fl.  Twice this past week morons thought somehow a freekin car and my bike could occupy the same space at the same time.  I gotta get that stable horn installed!  The sideburner and 4000rpm scared one off, but I had to make way for the other muther forker.

From an ethical standpoint I think it's our duty to shoot morons.  I'd feel real guilty if I didn't bag one and it got away and hit another biker!
