ride started on another board and has been postponed until Mar 15. Some of us will be staying overnight.
meet  7:30 am...ksu 8am, love's at 290+2920 then to Austin, then 2222 to Travis, then 1431 to Marble Falls. Sorry about the postponement.

Nobody owns the streets though. There may still be some folks that wanna go.

Keep your eye on the sky as there is a 30% chance of scattered T-storms  , which means theres a 70% of good ridin' weather  .

Glad to hear it Dave & Mike - I hoping to be riding my new (used) Z1000, if the transaction goes as planned tomorrow - can't let you two have all the fun. Gonna let my VTX rest at home this trip - she took me to Corpus 3 weeks ago.
From what I heard, because of the length of the ride, the route was straight-up 290 to 2222. I'm open to a more scenic route. We can discuss at the meet-up point.

David has offered to map out a senic route.  He seems to do a pretty good job of that as evidence of previous road trips. He'll post it later today for everyone'e review, comments and group approval.

I'll be riding the BMW for this one and a buddy may come with us and ride my R1.

Ron don't worry..................I always bring jumper cables and a tow strap when there's a Kawi in the group.  So.........you should be "good to go" on your new ride. 
          (Sorry I just had to do that )  What happen to getting an R1?  I hate to hear you had to lower your expectations.

Got a great deal on a 2003 Z1 with less than 1800 miles - test rode it and loved it - looks brand new.
The real test will be the ride tomorrow.

Under the previous route, I would have guessed sometime between 11:30-Noon. But with the scenic route, it'll probably be a little later - but then the group that has responded so far are a fast-riding bunch of animals

I might be punishing myself and bringing the 750 tomorrow.  Now that it's back to stock height it's even more uncomfortable.    I guess I'll decide when I get up at 6am.

Yes, several of us are still going on the ride tomorrow (3/1).  We're meeting at the Love's gas station on 290 and 2920 at 7:30am.
