Ride to Oasis (Austin Area) on Saturday March 1

Hey gang,

There's a group taking a full-day ride on Saturday to have lunch at the Oasis on Lake Travis (Austin area). McLovin and I are also going. We're meeting up at the Love's gas station on 2920 and 290 around 7:30am. Kick stands up and on the road by 8:00am. This ride is long, and depending on where you live, could be 600 miles round trip.

The more the merrier, and looks like the weather is going to be great.

Anyone from the SA area like to join in on this venture. Maybe ride up through Wimberly up 12 to Dripping Springs to 620 to Lake Travis.

Glad to hear it Dave & Mike - I hoping to be riding my new (used) Z1000, if the transaction goes as planned tomorrow - can't let you two have all the fun. Gonna let my VTX rest at home this trip - she took me to Corpus 3 weeks ago.
From what I heard, because of the length of the ride, the route was straight-up 290 to 2222. I'm open to a more scenic route. We can discuss at the meet-up point.
