Student Formula SAE race - free event

Anyone is interested in car race? Here is a student race event and it is free. See following:

Where: UT Arlington in the parking lot at Cooper and Mitchell streets
 
Event: SCCA Autocross (http://scca.com/Solo/Solo2.asp)
When: Sunday July 15, 2007 (see details below)
Where: Texas Motor Speedway infield
 

UT Arlington FSAE race team is hosting their seventh annual Texas Autocross Weekend July 14-15, 2007.  FSAE teams expected to attend are UT Arlington, Univ Kansas, UT San Antonio, Univ Oklahoma, Univ New Mexico, Texas A&M, Univ Texas, Univ Houston, Univ Florida, South Dakota School of Mines, LSU, Mississippi State and others.  Over 20 cars are expected to be there.
 
Saturday July 14 we will race at UT Arlington in the parking lot at Cooper and Mitchell streets.  Will be from about 10 am to 5 pm.  Free barbeque lunch will be provided.  Free pizza dinner is also available and sponsored by Texas Engineering Systems if you want to see their Solidworks presentation.
 
Sunday July 15 we will attend the SCCA autocross in the infield of Texas Motor Speedway.  This will be a fast track.  The link below has an in-car video from TMS a few years ago.
