Old memories
« on: April 09, 2012, 11:19:26 AM »

In 2005, (BBT II), The X-Rider board went down while we were preparing for the Rally so I created a site where we could keep up until the board was back online. I'm re-posting the site for some of you old-timers that might enjoy some good old memories.

Also, there are some excellent rides you can find on the "Click here for the rides" link. Remember, the Poker Run route was from 2005 and not scheduled for this year. It's still not a bad ride. All of these rides were based from the Armadillo Farm Campground but can be easily tweaked to work from The Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park.

Enjoy,
Mike

Looks like not as many are registered for the event as we used to get for the Thursday M&G this year. Kenny, you better get those four friends of yours to show up!

Kenny you said it right "time passes" and we've all gotten older and some of you (ok me too) have gotten decrypted and just can't seem to handle "Too much fun anymore"! The younger ones, with some exceptions made, don't want to make a commitment or spend that much time away from home. Young'uns, the yard needs mowing, church, can't take off work, etc. The list goes on forever for excuses as to why I can't attend. Sure sometimes I've had the same excuse too but I've always done my best to attend these functions. I don't think many people here, more than me, would like to see the 100 plus attend and show support for the X Riders as a group again. How hard is it to ride down or up to support your group even though you can't stay but 2 of the 4 days planned.  :idontknow:
