Just to start a conversation. Are they both better than the stock? What's the difference and which is best?

Why would YOU care?  You don't own a wing..............do you?.................  Yet?

To answer the question..............
Either one is much better than stock.
Race Tech component offerings are fewer and not as complete as Traxxions. Traxxion has a complete fix that addresses all of the handling flaws in the wing in so much as is practical to fix.
RT can supply the valving and springs to fix those specific OEM flaws but they don't offer the triple trees that complete the package.  Only Traxxion offer aftermarket trees which are much stronger than OEM. Weak trees are responsiable for a lot of the vaugenenss in the wing.  Honda did stiffen the 2012 wing lower tree a little (and it does help some) but it still is not what the Traxxion tree is.  That was the only thing Honda changed on the 2012 wing in regard to suspension.
Traxxion offers adjustable dampening and spring preload on their AK-20 fork dampers and spring caps.    RT does not.
Traxxions AK-20 damper is a more sophisticated device and meters oil better than RT Gold valves.  I know...........I have both systems on different bikes.  RT stuff is good, if and when you get the set up right.  Traxxion gives you the option of adjustibility to adjust the set up to your prefference which can change due to type of riding or payload.

Either rear shock is good.  I hear some like RT better.  I've rode both and I can't tell a difference between them if the spring rates are the same.  The main problem on the rear of the wing is a lack of spring rate.  Get a 1000 or 1100 lbs. spring and that fixes the majority of the problem.  When you go up on rate , you naturally have to increase dampening to go along with it. Either dampening body is good if you ask me.  OEM unit sucks.

Something new for the wing front suspension is on the horizon.
Progressive is suppose to be offering a mono tube fork cartridge kit with spring for about $300.00.  They have yet to ship any of these because they keep pushing delivery dates back.  We assume it will be a China buy out item of limited quality because Progressive will not confirm they actually make this item in the U.S..  Time will tell how good or bad they are.............if they ever get them shipped to customers and they get some mileage on them.  Dan (PepsX) has some of these ordered for his wing for months now and we plan to do a ride evaluation if he ever gets them and installed.  I'm curious to see what kind of quality you get for this little money and how long they will hold up.  I don't expect much from Progressive based on my experience with their stuff, especially for this price point.  These items do have a lifetime warranty, but what good is that if they keep breaking all the time and your bike is torn apart waiting for replacements because their product is junk?
You get what you pay for in life most of the time. So to expect a lot of performance for this small amount of money............ is to be hopeful in the extreme IMHO.
