New Rider!

Hey everyone, I just purchased not only my first VTX, but my first road bike!  ;D  So far it's been an interesting transition from dirt bikes, but I think I'm getting used to it.  I bought the 07 VTX 1300C, and I love it.  My buddy rides a 06 VTX 1800, and we're both new to the Dallas/FW area, so we're looking forward to seeing some of you all on the road!  O0

Thanks!  I wasn't sure about the white myself at first, but when I got it out on the street the metallic properties of the paint gave it a better look than in the showroom.  I may get a custom paint job done down the road though...... we'll see.

Thanks everyone!  We're in Carrollton near Josey Lane.  Both of us work on ships in the Gulf so we have unusual schedules, but hopefully we'll make it to some of the events.

I use to work on a seismographic boat in the gulf...well at least I worked on it for a.....a short time. Remind me to tell you the story when we meet ;D ;D ;D Live in Carrollton as well. Lot's of toy runs coming up!!

Glad to meet someone from Carrollton.  I'm currently visiting family in the northeast and won't be back home until after Turkey day. But I look forward to exchanging stories some time.  ;D
