Great ride.  The last 3 amigos got stuck on 75 southbound in McKinney as they were striping the shoulder.  By the time we got back to Maxim, everyone was done for the day and ready to go home.  I got bad coon-eye and a doo-rag stripe.

The guys at Maxim were very appreciative of the turnout for our ride and are happy to support any ride we want to start there. I spoke with there shop mananger last night when I was getting some exhaust gastkets for my new V & H's  He said we could start a ride from their place anytime and they would set us up with coffee & donuts (fat pills!!) and a conference room at no charge. He also wanted to know if I had anyones email address so he could send out some % off coupons to everyone. I didn't want to give any out without permission, so if anyone is interested send me an email and I will pass it along. vtxridersg@att.net

You're right. I've got Tourmaster so I'm good down to cold weather but it's not quite as much fun as 80 degree weather.

I prefer 55 to 65 for riding, myself.  But I agree, it doesn't get too cold.  But ice is a deterrent.
