Well this is the ways I seez it. The National Weather Service sez one thing and the others sez something different. It could be nice and sunny without a cloud in the sky  when you start your ride but by the time you return, the monsoons have set in. That's just the way it beez here in Texas and we all know that. Now for those of you that grew up here in Texas (some of us with a little age on the bone or long in the tooth so to say) and have been around farming and dealing with mother nature knows what a Rainbird is and the story about'em.

For those of you that don't know, here's a quick run down. In the spring and especially in the summers when it's been warm and dry for a bit and you see a few of these birds gathering that means that rain is in the not so distant future, a couple of days usually. Well, it's kinda early for the birds to be gathering in the southern skys so I think I'll take my rain suit anyway.
