BBT V Garage Sale
« on: May 13, 2008, 09:23:15 PM »

"Maybe you changed out your risers. Put on a new handlebars. Replaced your horn, and still have the stock one gathering dust on a shelf. Wouldn't you like to find that part you've been wanting at 50, 60, or 70% off the prices online?"

Load up all the misc. parts you've got laying around and bring them to the Rally. We did this for the first time last year, and at least 60% of everything brought was sold. What better place could there be to sell those xtra parts.

The Pavillion is large enough that everything can be displayed on tables, just like a garage sale. The building will be locked, when not monitored by a member of the BOD or a Rally volunteer.

What you need to do:

1. Put your name on the part. ( suggestion: use a return address label )
2. Put your price on the part.

Everyone shopping will know who owns that item, and get with you to purchase, haggle, or whatever.

This just might be a way to get some more CHROME!!!

Great news RD.  I sold all but one of eight items last year and pocketed some serious money for new chrome.  I'll be sure to bring more this year.  ( Including a Kuryakyn backrest for that "other 1800", the GL 1800).  Also will bring a Kury Tombstone tail light still in the packaging.  More to follow.

I might be bringing my stock exhaust...ok probably not.

I'm going to dig and see if I have anything else to bring.

You never know who might have one. I'd bring it if you can.

I will contribute a portion of each item sold to the general fund toward the expenses for BBT V or whatever is next.  I'm in for 10%.  Anyone else?

if anyone has grips (stock or aftermarket) with a throttle sleeve please bring it/them. I need some aftermarket grips, but the throttle sleeve is most important at this time.
