Spent last weekend at Fredericksburg.  Took my girlfriend for a romantic weekend on her birthday and rented the coolest cabin on 200 acres about 12 miles outside of town.  Excellent place to get away and relax.  www.springloghaus.com

The main reason I posted was that Big Mike's bike shop in Fredricksburg told me that the three sisters has a ton of construction going on right now.  Wasn't sure if anyone had heard how bad it was.  He told me that it was down to one lane in several places and vehicles were having to be escorted through.  Anyone heard anything else?

Can't wait until BBT....see ya'll there!

I was on Hwy173 a few days ago. Just south of Bandera I ran into 2 construction areas that had escorts.

Seems like they did that a couple of years ago too. They patch the streches of road with limestone base and then wet it down. It's a nasty slick mess.
I was first in line and talked to the old man that was flagging. I had just gone across a little stream when I had to stop. I ask the old man how he liked his job. He said that it was ok but got a whole lot better around 3:00 when all the high school girls came down to sun on the rocks by the stream.
Dirty old man. I went back tree times and never saw any girls.

Dusty - I think you have to hide out otherwise all you see on those rocks are lizards.  Maybe a "dear" stand!!

Hey that ok I got the scoop on the girls I've put a order in for three P G B if your first name starts with that letter and have slept in the same trailer together but not in the same bed girls are free. LOL

I did the 3's last weekend. 335 & 336 are fine, no construction. 337 was fine except heading east out of Leakey has 5 miles of gravel. It's packed hard and you can do 30-35 mph, but still far from ideal.
