Thanks

Jerry, here's all the info.  Camper's $9 per night. http://www.texasxriders.com/index.php?topic=7217.0

Rd, I wish to clarify, you make it sound like the $30. registration does not include the tent camping for the fri/sat nights. That isn't right, is it? I had understood the registration covered the two nights of tent camping.

John, The registration fee does not include camping. The registration fee is for the rent of the Pavilion, portions of the park, shirts, pins, etc..

As per the regitration form, http://wwwtemp.texasxriders.com/d/136020-1/BBT+V+Registration+Form+-+full+in+version?g2_GALLERYSID=639b5fe6560ea1e6e4cfaa3cbba86d01 lodging is at the expense of the attendee. Camping at the park is $9.00 per tent per night, regardless of the amount of people in the tent. That fee will be collected at the Registration table, and then given to the Park Office. You do not need to stop at the Park Office if you are Tent camping.

You DO NEED to make reservations with the Park Office if you are RV'ing, Travel Trailer, 5th Wheel, or Pop-up Camper.

Everything is spelled out on the registration form, and on the BBTV announcement thread.  http://www.texasxriders.com/index.php?topic=7217.0

We don't want anyone to get confused about what is, and what isn't. Take time to read the announcement post and the registration form. All the information is there.

What had me confused (besides my age and certain chemicals during those years ;) ) was the inclusion in the http://www.texasxriders.com/index.php?topic=7217.0  thread of:"Campers to pay at rally check-in.". Makes it sound like the registration fee, kind of, 'cause wouldn't we pay the $9. fee to the campground otherwise?

The Campground Director suggested that it would be easier for all parties if we collected the money at registration. We'll give a seperate reciept for the camping monies, then turn the money and number of campers over to them. This way it's a 1 stop deal, and it'll help them in not having to deal with so many people.

COME ON FOLKS, LET'S GET'UM IN!
Oh I forgot, this will be Memorial weekend and you can make plans to go to the lake house and sit around with Uncle Fred, Aunt Polly and the in-laws, burn a few weenies, sneek a brew or two, watch the Dragon Flies chase the Knats and hear the grass grow. Now that sounds like alot of fun! Hey you can even ride the bike or bikes over to to the lake! Kewl! You get there and park your ride and watch the dust settle on the tank. I guess I'd rather do that than be out riding the Sisters, twisties, dodging deer, or squirrel's in RD's case, and having a boring time riding my scoot and having to talk to a bunch of not so fun people that have the same interest as you. But I don't blame ya for not making plans to make the BBT when you have the opportunity to go see the in-laws and even roast some marshmellows too!

All kidding aside, this is the grandaddy, and this is what we're all about. Enjoying the people we post with, cuss at sometimes because they stole your thread, or made fun of your spelling. Who knows, you might even have a good time.  O0 O0

I'm a victim of "suicide by bike".  >:( That squirrl was in the clear, and then jumped in front of me. I had no recourse. It was over in an instant. :-[ Why must I continue to relive this horrible incident. The party that has the answers is dead. It's the living that suffer and have unanswered questions. :'( :'( :'(
