Bluebonnet Thunder V Attendance Poll
« on: February 17, 2008, 10:46:03 PM »

As we have every year in the past, we're trying to get an unofficial, but as accurate a count as possible to find out how many people are attending. The Rally planners need this information to plan for dinner and other functions that will be held.

This year's Bluebonnet Thunder Rally is being held in a beautiful location, and it's offers a tremendous amout of amenities for us to enjoy. We'll have more space to camp, asphalt streets, an unbelieveable Pavillion to have our BBQ dinner, Bike Show, Prize giveaways, and overall hang out.

In past years the early morning "coffee clutch" at the registration area has proved popular, as well as needed for those camper's that desire their morning "jolt". This year that tradition will not only continue, but we have plans to expand. The Pavilion has a Kitchenette, and plans are to have coffee, soda, water, and breakfast foods, ie. muffins, microwavable breakfast sandwiches, etc. available for all.

Finally!!! We have a perfect location for Bike Games, which will make their debut this year. They're as much fun to watch, as participate.

Mark your calendars, tell your friends, spread the word, and make plans to be there. This is going to be a fun-filled time.

Just to avoid confusion, are we counting one or two for a couple? The poll actually asks how many we are bringing with us, making the count "one" for a couple. Please clarify :-*.

Question from  a TX newbie...can someone tell me the actual dates of the BBQ & other planned activities by the TXRiders associated with the BBT, as Mrs. P and I may try to do a day trip and we're trying to figure out the best day to go? Thanks.

Jim: 1 person = you. 2 people = you and Marigold.

POGOGOLF: The BBQ is on Saturday 5/24, generally around 6-6:30PM. A schedule of evets will be posted prior to the Rally.

Jeff: Stands to reason. ::)

I am finalizing the details but can say for sure the price will be the price regardless of number of days attending.  Take a look at the offical post and stay tuned for registration details.  I should have that ready to post by end of next week; need to finish up the costs to ensure we break even.

Hey, no worry, my post was just needling RD a bit. And as far as the staying around Just Enough For Food comment, I paid full price last year for all of 3 hours of camaraderie and a T-shirt, and left before the 'q was being dished out. No big deal, just supportin' the cause.

This year, I'll be in Big Bend Baby!!!   O0 ;)
