Down that long lonesome highway of life and on the highway that (we hope)never ends. There are many destenations and some places to see and visit that are NOT in a straightline between where you are and where you think you want to be. There are high roads, low roads, side roads, smooth roads, rough roads, and twisty roads.. Some of the roads will bring back thoughts of I wish I hadn't done that and others will make you remember  how glad you are you made the trip. Saying there is nothing there does not mean there is nothing there for someone else. Take some time to smell the roses or the bumper. Enjoy the trip you never know when the side road takes you past an old jail, old sod church, logcabin in the valley, view from the top of a mountin, a beaver in a stream. If you don't take some side roads to just enjoy,and not to see how fast you can pass through life you have missed it. I guess one thing I am trying to say is BE THERE DO THAT !!!!!! RIDE SAFE RIDE LONG Hope to see y'all soon!!  I still like icons   swampy made me do it!!!YOU MAY NEVER PASS THAT WAY AGAIN!!!!

Welp things have changed and kinda glad they changed now instead of one of those last minuet deals. My wife wants to ride down to the BBT this year and she doesn't have anytime off (Monday). She's takin off Friday to ride down with me or us whichever it be. This means West Texas - New Mexico run is out for me. I wish it weren't going this way, but --------.  It's probably for the best anyway because it would have been heck to leave somewhere in New Mexico by midnight Tuesday to get home just in time to get cleaned up and go to work late Wed afternoon. I love my wife but sometimes she and a Monkey Wrench have way too much in common.

What do ya say to throwing some darts at a map at BBT and going from there?    We can even stay in Texas...  maybe head east a ways, or just cruize the hill country, i don't care, as long as I get away from straight-flat roads with sandstorms for a while...  Are we still good with throwing the plans down while at BBT?
