Hey gang,
Can someone tell me, aside from the campground where I understand all the staging of events will take place, is there a motel in around Fredericksburg that you've chosen as a secondary site? Just wondering if anyone's secured group rates at any one motel which I should be trying to make reservations at first?

If not, what are some of the motels you all have been booking rooms at?

Thanks!

There's no place reserved as a group rate deal so everybody not camping is kinda on their own I guess. Most places there are biker friendly and moderately priced, depending what you want or looking for. I have stayed at the Super 8 several times and have had no problems or complaints. Some others have and are going to stay at the Econo Lodge again this year. Here's a link to the lodgeing places in and around Fredricksburg area, hope it helps.

Anyone staying at the LaQuinta needs to remember the vtxoa discount. They set this up at the Coloradical, but it is good everywhere. O0

Hello, everybody

Me and my wife are planning on making this VTX event. I own a VTX1300 Retro, my wife has a VT750 Shadow Spirit. Looking forward to going to this. We have made reservations at the KOA Kampground in Fredericksburg. I can say one thing, those people at that KOA are very very biker friendly. We have stayed there more than once. Looking forward to meeting up with all you guys.

Man, a beer sounds good. After this long ride, can't ask for nothing better. Looking forward to meeting you guys. So I take it, ya'll will be staying at Lady B Johnson Campground. Do you know of any others who will be staying at the KOA, if so we'd like to meet up with them.

As I remember he didn't require that Muffmaster and I be relegated to solitary confinement after being caught out after curfew, but he told us that "There vill be NO movies tonight!" and I had to return to the snake den.  ;D

Yeah, I figure I'll just camp this time....probably come a tird floater! :D
Gonna spend a little time "collecting" this time around, too.

Uh oh... :o

Sounds like you need to bring a couple of cans and share with a couple of your Texas brothers.  O0  Never heard of it, who knows I might like it better than Miller High Life.  :-\
