Ya'll go to the website and check it out. RV'S NEED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS NOW! HOTEL RESERVATIONS ALSO NEED TO BE MADE NOW. Tent campers just need to show up... the earlier the better. Get it while it's HOT!
The campground also has wireless internet available.

There may be a problem with that map that Txcruiser linked to. I just looked at it on GoogleEarth and the photograph did not show that road coming south into the park from Tivydale Rd. The photograph may be old; I have no idea if they've constructed that road since the photograph was taken. If anyone's close enough to check it out it might save a bunch of folks some backtracking.

If you're going south on Hwy16 from Hwy290, you want to pass the airport. You'll recognize it....large open area with a fence surrounding it, large warehouse style buildings in the center, planes in the area, and maybe even a sign. The entrance to Lady Bird Johnson park is the next street on the right, immediately after the airport. It's a paved street with monuments (stone walls w/ words on them identifying a specific location). Turn there! If you arrive in Kerrville, you've gone a little too far.
