??? :o I was doing the adjusted speed for the 1300, (10 per cent) difference, It is my belief that we were pulled over because someone with a much more powerful engine was trying to maintain and had exceeded the posted speed limit of 70.  It is hard to believe that the great state of Texas DPS had nothing better to do than to turn around and hinder 3 upright citizens on their journey, thinking we were doing every bit of 75 in a 70 on an isolated stretch of highway!!!   All this in my defense.  I don't think they let me lead again....

wayne i was out there last year, and i know there were times when we did not see a car for awhile, and i don't think we ever saw a patrolman, guess he was bored and needed to talk to somebody, ;D ;D on our one marathon day on our arkansas trip when we rode the 700 odd miles back miles back home from springfield in one day, i don't think we saw one cop, guess we just lucked out. ::)  ;)

It was really good to meet you guys. Had a great time. I think we all wanted to stay out longer. After the R.A.T. Ride, it felt like a short day. It good to see were getting more X'er's in the SA area.
