This may sound like a strange request, but is there any place or individual where I could rent a touring seat for my 03 vtx1800c? One of my clients, Hope for the Heart ministry, is having it's annual ride through the Talimena route to AR to support crisis pregnancy centers at the end of September. My bike has the stock seat and my wife isn't crazy about riding a 2 day trip onthe back. I can't afford to buy a seat at this time. Any ideas or suggestions?

I know of no place that simply "rents seats".

You may look around for "seat pads"... things like gel, air, beads, etc.
