Sunday ride Houston- Return to Somerville
« on: August 31, 2006, 01:58:35 PM »

A couple of us at the M & G last night were talking about maybe doing a Sunday morning ride if weather holds out. Maybe Yankees but still open.

Any one up for it?

ok looks like it's Somerville to the place with the big steaks (Country Inn).

We will meet at 2920 & 45 raceway at 9-9:15 then a second meet at 2920 & 290 at Luvs 10-10:15
Should be to Somerville by 11:30. Then we will go East and come back 149 through Richards or something like that, the scenic route.

Should be a nice ride.

Sherri, I take it your ride is a go?  Right?  This restaurant is the place by the Super 8 isn't it?

If I leave at 8:00, I should be there at 11:30 ish.  After we eat I would like to try and find the Antique Rose Emporium and smell the roses for a while b4 heading back.  However, with the August heat, the roses may not be much to look at.

Any CenTex riders up for this ride?  Come on along.

See ya there,
Jerry

Yes ride is a go (as long as it doesn't rain)  the weather report looks good right now. I think that is the one, never actually made it last time. It's the only one that came up on Google. Hope we see some you Central riders.

Glad you made it home safe Jerry. Had a great time. Finally a day that was comfortable all day long.

And Jerry, anytime you want to set up that Port Lavaca ride again I'll meet you there for lunch.
