The Big Texas Toy Run - 21 Dec
« on: November 03, 2008, 12:31:28 PM »

This is the big one everyone knows about.  Three groups from Fort Worth, Grapevine and Dallas all converge on the Arlington Convention Center.  Just thought I'd post the link.

Hey back to ya... got a nother computer and forgot this password and got busy at work.
We need to put a few more rides together like last year...I heard from Justin today about a ride in Arlington but I was already out with my daughter. I guess I need to pay more attention to the board.heheheh
I'll stay in touch,

Yep I'll be there.  8) Will meet and ride out of Cleburne with another group to Ft.Worth. Rode Johnson County run yesterday and about 2000 bikes made the showing. Hope to run into some of y'all out there. Any meet up plans in the works either out there or afterwards, like Strokers, Wilhoite's, or someplace at a certian time?

We'll make the Dallas start.  Be cool if we could figure out a spot to meet in Arlington.  I'm thinking that's asking way too much.  Next best has to be hooter's idea of meeting up someplace off site afterward.

Wilhoit's just up 157 or Stroker's would probably have more parking cause you know that there might be a few riders out in the metro-mess lookin for a beer.

Angie and I are riding with the Dallas group. Our little club has been asked to lead them from Dallas. We dress up as eideer and have a guy that dresses as Santa and pulls a sleigh.

Fort Worth or Grapevine........  too many decisions.  We are riding in this one, but I don't know where we are starting.

I've always rode from Dallas. Learned that the first to get there are generally the first to ride out.

With the proper "supplies", (coffee and doughnuts :) ), I was able to maintain the proper "attitude" until some of the local breakfast eateries opened. Being first out meant less stops and more opportunity to check out other bikes after getting there.

Is it the same at the other locations?

We'll make the Dallas start.  Be cool if we could figure out a spot to meet in Arlington.  I'm thinking that's asking way too much.  Next best has to be hooter's idea of meeting up someplace off site afterward.

I like going to Bobby Valentines on Bowen Road and I-20 in Arlington afterwards, there aren't as many bikers but the beer is cold, food is good and it's usually not too crowded.
