We will do it again, Dan wound up not making it either, Cris was not feeling well.  Just me and Dena made it to Dukes.  We might go out Sunday morning for a while, I will post a message on it when we iron out the details.

Hey Ken, Got your email regarding Sundays ride.  Sounds like fun!! Cris went to the doc yesterday and was diagnosed with a sinus infection..!!    The doc hooked her up with a shot and some meds.  My son and I are in for Sunday and if my better half is feeling better, she will come along too.    So what is it a 0830L KSU from Wilhoits??  Any idea on a route??

Mornin' Dan!  I hadn't talked about a route just yet.  Need to find some nice two-lanes and like you said, get back before it gets to be 100.  Probably get back around noon?

Sounds good Dena...  Keep us posted on what you decide, (route).  We're in..  Snake you nailed it, 0830L KSU and engine running cause the heat comes on real fast..!!!! Although I don't think we'll see the triple digit temps. till 2pm'ish...  Who else is in???

I shouldn't type without eating breakfast and having coffee first... I meant "WE"!     I am not good at route planning... I just hop on and go!  We'll all have to pitch in on the route.

OK Ken....  We need your help on route planning.. !!! You seem to be pretty good at that kind of thing....

Ok, here's the deal, KSU at Wilhoites at 8:30 am Sunday.  Come with tanks full and bladders empty.

Ok, I don't have a set in stone route, thought we would head up to Flower Mound across the dam, don't know the road numbers, but there is a back road up to Argyle then  take 407 over to Justin.  May cut up to Decatur area.  Then ride hwy 51 north to Slidell, the ride 455 to back to Celina then 428 back into Denton and then work back to Grapevine and end where we started at Wilhoites and have a cold one, lunch and visit.  If this runs too long or it gets too hot, we can curtail it.

I have to be in Oklahoma City today and don't know yet when I will be in. If I get in I will be there. I need directions to the starting spot though from Rowlett, Garland area). At least an address and I will map it.

What time are you thinkin agout being back at Wilhoite's? A few of us are making Hard 8 in Coppell and then probably making a water hole afterwards.

Great to see some friends and some new faces.  For those who missed it, we had a great ride even with it getting hot later into it and some good times sitting around the table at Wilhoites at the end with a few cold ones.  I clocked 150 miles from Wilhoites to the driveway, so not a bad ride for such a hot day.  We had some great roads and good times had by all.  Pictures will be posted soon that Dan and Cris took along the way.
