Obama and his loyal minions have already been caught in a bunch of lies. More and more people who tried to remain neutral are getting fed up. Even some of the brainwashed sheep will see their "change" for what it really is before it's all over. If the village idiot feels that he's richer, let him think so. Even a moron can see he's getting screwed after awhile.

  You hit the nail on the head Jim.

BTW............That small amount of money the government has allowed you to temporarily get back (it's called buying votes) will evaporate under the inflation that will soon hit us due to the increidable spending they have started.  Look at the big picture people.  Don't be lulled into a line of crap.  You have to be smarter than the politicians.  Think for yourselves.  You can't just print money without a cost.

Thanks to Obama, your lucky if you can even find ammo on the store shelves due to the rush to buy it.............. and at any price.  The price of ammo and guns have doubled since he's taken office. Some guns have tripled.  The same thing happened when Clinton took office because they both promised higher taxes and/or the elimination of guns.  So that drives up the prices.  I guess I can say "thank you" for increasing the net worth of my guns.

Mike!? Well I hope you and the other .0001% of Houston or so people showing up for your tea luncheon enjoy yourselves Wednesday. It seems you and the Fox News/Comedy troupe are the only ones promoting this funtastic event! Woo Hoo!

Did you really expect to see the major liberal news channels promote the tea parties?  Are you serious?

Take a look at this live feed.  I'd say there's more than just a few who are intrested.  This is at just one location.  This is happening all over the country.  Obama's socialistic proposals have awaken the sleeping masses.

But I hope you do realize these taxes your paying tomorrow and complaining about are from the Bush administration's tax plan. Just think, next April 15th you'll be paying less in taxes!

You are missing the point.  We all know what year this is and who the last president was and how much he and his group screwed things up by taking their hands off the wheel of economic oversite for the benifit of prosperity.  The problem is government has gotten too big.  PERIOD.  It dosen't make a difference which party is in control.  BIG government is the problem not just one party.  They are all self indulgent and looking out for themselves.
Do really think your taxes will be less next year?  If you do.............your taking their line of crap.......... hook, line and sinker.
Let's hold this conversation again on 4-15-10 and see.  EVEN if they don't increase taxes on you, they will on others (the 10% that already pays 80% of the total tax collected) and due to inflation from run-a-way spending, the money you do have will have less buying power.  It's not how much money you have that matters, it's matters how much the money you have is worth.  All of the investment people I deal with expect the US to have 10% inflation by year end due to the spending.  How does that sound to you?   :ohwow:

Government is always too big but that's not our current problem. The problem is the politicians were unwilling to regulate the financial tycoons who owned them and the financial tycoons were wreckless, created wreckless, uncoverable debt based upon wreckless assumptions, and created wealth on paper that was an illusion. Before the collapse began they already had taken enough money for several lifetimes. The rest of us don't matter to either the moguls or the likes of W and McCain. I can't really figure out what Obama thinks of the average guy.

The choices left were to let the market correct itself which would been a broad collapse of many banks and companies and a twenty year economic hole that destroyed  millions of lives ...or....throw money at it to stave that off any way possible. Which is what Bush and Obama have done and what McCain would have done because the prospects of doing so are scary but the prospects of having done nothing as in the crash of 29 was certain and probably complete destruction. to use "w"'s words...this sucka could go down.

The thing to focus on now is a balance between necessary regulation and free enterprise that will establish a trendline of moderate and sustainable growth. Once that is carved out, one should look at tax reduction, interest rates and many other things.

The situation needs to be reined in and taxes are too high, but all things considered this tea party is not timely and kind of a fool's parade. Sorry fellows, we've all got our opinions and that's mine.

I don't have the answers to the economic crisis that we're in, but I KNOW that the kind of spending going on now is beyond excessive and that the next generation(s) will be paying very dearly for this folly. I think that this tea party concept is EXACTLY what we need now to show the new administration that we aren't ALL a bunch of stupid, brainwashed sheep who will accept without question the BS being slung out. We may not be able to turn it around, but if enough people show their disapproval of the current spending debacle we might slow it down and make some of those morons in Washington realize that we haven't given up yet. Given free rein, Obama and his wrecking crew are going to destroy this country and what it stands for. They MUST be made to realize that some common sense needs to prevail. You all recall that our village idiot, in his incredibly stupid pitch for gun control, made the statement that the NRA has succeeded because they bribe Republicans. Naturally, like most liars, he refuses to offer any substantiation for his diarrhea of the mouth. However, those who pay heed to such things will note that more and more Democratic politicians are aligning themselves with gun ownership. Now, I have no doubt that some of them have realized that gun control is a political scam, and based on lies. BUT....................I'd be willing to bet that most of the ones who switched sides have realized that the majority of Americans aren't buying the gun control lies, and have made their case at the polls. They are willing to commit that worst of all sins -- defying the Party Line -- to get reelected. If enough of us demand some common sense we MIGHT get some moderation instead of the unrestrained and unprecedented spending we are seeing now. I hope MILLIONS of people show up and raise hell about this spending spree. I believe it WILL do some good. Right now we're getting just as many lies from Washington as we did under any other administration, and if "the truth" and "change" are important enough to get a snake-oil (absolutely no disrespect intended, John ;)) salesman like Obama elected, then they ought to be important enough for America to stand up and demand them.
