M & G SUGGESTIONS AROUND THE DFW METROPLEX
« on: March 07, 2008, 04:57:50 PM »

HEY GUYS AND GALS,

I'M ABOUT TO START POSTING SOME M&G'S AROUND THE METROPLEX AND WILL ALSO BE POSTING SOME DAY TRIPS (LUNCH RUNS, ETC).  TBIRD AND I ARE ALREADY TALKING ABOUT A MUENSTER, TX LUNCH RUN AND AN EAST TEXAS LUNCH RUN SOMEWHERE.  THROW OUT SOME LOCATIONS OF SOME COOL PLACES IN AND AROUND THE METROPLEX THAT YOU HAVE FOUND OR REGULARY HANGOUT THAT YOU THINK WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO MEET UP AT AND I'LL POST SOME OF THEM AT M&G LOCATIONS.  I'M HOPING TO SPREAD OUT THE M&G'S SO THAT THEY WILL EVENTUALLY BE CLOSE TO EVERYONE.

THANKS,
ICEMAN

I didn't get to make it last time, but I really like the Oasis at Joe Pool Lake. Especially in the summer.

Bone Daddy's in Grapevine, if you think the scenery is nice at Hooter's, you need to try BD's.  O0

I like Twin Peaks in Lewisville and Mesquite. There is a place on the Lake at the I30 and Dal-Rock exit i believe it is called Weekenders. It's a great location.

Everytime I've eat there the service and food was not good at all.

Bone daddy's...better than Hooters for food and scenery, agreed.  I like TP as well, ja ja, but I'm not against Hooters at all either.  Or...in the words of the philosopher G. Thorogood, "I really, really, really, really, really really, really like girls.  I really, really, really, really, really really, really like girls.  I like girls.  I like girls.  I like girls."

Me, I'd like to see more of the southern Dallas and Tarrant County area because their closer and easier for me and probably some others in the southern area's to make.

If you haven't been to Sherman/Dennison to Loose Wheels your missing out.  This place is incredible and setup primarily for bikers.  It provides a great ride to and from and the food is excellent.  I have been once on a Sunday and we had about 10 bikes that made the trip.  I really hope we do this trip.  Here is a link:  http://www.loosewheelstexas.com/
