Thanks y'all for making me feel bad I missed it!  :)

Hey Morgan we missed you too...  :-\ :-\  You better not bail on the next one..!!!   Let's plan another ride.  How about Sunday Sept. 9th.  That gives everyone plenty of time to plan on being there or bail out.  ;D ;D  Let's try and do better than yesterdays 23 scooters..!!!

Dan

I will have to miss that one, I am going to Temple that weekend for the Ft. Hood Charity ride.  My daughter is a photography vendor at the event also and I told her I would help her out.  Can't believe I gotta miss one.

If you do, take 455 out of Sanger, it is a good road.

I haven't yet.  I rode 90 miles home using just the sleeve with hand cramps from Denton to McKinney.  I am tryin' to decide if I want to sand the broken throttle sleeve clean, get some stronger epoxy, and hope it doesn't happen again or just get a new sleeve from HDL.

But if I get a new sleeve that leads to other problem...if I take the switch housing off to install the new sleeve then I might as well get it chromed and if I do that, then I might as well get the housing on the clutch side chromed too...and so on and so on and so on!!!

I recorded 287 total from driveway out to driveway in...!!!  O0 O0 O0  Lil' Dan was tore up at the end of the ride.  I don't know how he did it, but 287 miles seems like a long Cranberries ride in that funky crotch rocket position!!!

Sounds to me like you have the perfect reason to add more chrome to your machine..!!!  I say.. "DO IT"..

I'll try to make a shortened version of any trip that weekend, I can't miss practice at 2 p.m. however.  So someone start a thread!  :)

I'm up for the 9th...  or at least for showing up late and heading ya off at the pass...  Might talk the girlfriend into bringing her Shadow too.

The cheap whiskey effect must have worn off yesterday, for the last hour back to Garland I thought I was gonna need surgery to remove that Genuine Honda seat... 297 for me, turned over 1k on the bike somewhere around Bridgeport...

you 2 crow!

I had just noticed the tailgunner wasn't there, last I had seen him was that that last little town, and was wondering if I should turn around and check on him...  So when you pulled over wasn't sure if he was on his way or not...  Glad it  wasn't anything major...

Crow,  I guess I need to get a cigarette lighter put on my bike - so I don't need to stop to light one.
