Texas X Riders, we have located a spot for our 10th Annual Bluebonnet Thunder Rally Meet & Greet. Join us Thursday evening to kick off a great weekend with friends and family.
Local Texas X Rider, Raderrods, has opened his restaurant to accomodate our party and by the looks of it and it's rating is a popular local dive.

Doesn't matter if you bring a VTX or not....just show-up! Yes, there will be some in RV's, tents and whatever else they choose to use as a shelter. Heck, some may be star gazers and just stare at the night sky while using a wine tube. :t :pot:

I'll be there, with or without my X (bike not former spouce :rofl:) but hoping its with her. Trailering her down since I'm rehabbing two bad shoulders :violin: and can't ride for that long but wouldn't miss :bikerider: with you all. Had a hitch installed on the car just for the rally. :good:
I'm bunking with VTXChad at a hotel...body doesn't handle camping out well. :drool:

With the Hill Country Rally going the same weekend, how will the riding be?

Have been down there when another biker rally is going on and since we will be there before the weekend
we will have time to ride without to many others on the road on Friday.
Saturday is another story. ;D

Is that the opposite of missing on accident? Maybe you're missing FOR a purpose? I missed once BECAUSE of an accident. Snake, are you missing for the purpose of avoiding all of us? Gosh, I hope not, I was hoping you would make it to BBT X. I hope for the sake of all those that have indulged, and those that never got to enjoy a BBT, that there is an XI.

Looking forward to having a parking lot full of VTX's, you other guys are welcome too, lol. The Luckenbach Rally is indeed the same weekend and it is growing every year, however the only routes that are heavily traveled are the famed Twisted Sisters. I rode them with some Kansas friends during the Bandera Rally and was not to bad, and that rally is just a few miles from there. The local "stops" along the way are the only issues we had as they were all very busy, the ride was fine. Weather should be great, mid 70's is still being forecast and the nights will be a bit chilly, you campers bring something to keep warm with :good:

No problem Gumbo, will take care of your shirt and pin. :thumbup: As for Hipshot's I would really hate to take a chance on me being the cause of any delays. If you get with Randy, I am sure he could probably mail it to them and get it to them faster. He probably even has a little change left over from last year.

Shoot no Tom! After missing because of my truck accident, this is the first one I am going to do something else. I'm going up to petit Jean mountain National Park Thursday, and will work my way 'round Arkansas till I get back to the Talimena parkway for the ride to Talihena OK before I head back. Thursday isn't looking very pretty but the rest will be. I might stop in at Hot Springs on the way into Arkansas. :o

Don't blame you Snake, I rode Ark last fall. Talimena , the pig trail, up to Eurika Springs. Gotta get busy and plan my next big trip.

Wow what a night last night, 2.5 inches of rain, sleet and small hail, wind is howling out of the north, high in the 50's today. Not a good start for the BBT 2013, however the rest of the weekend will be awesome in the Hill Country. Hope everyone coming for both the BBT and the Hill Country Run are safe and sound.

Good turn out. Was great to see some familiar faces and some new ones. Still plenty of weekend to get together. Thanks again to Craig and the food was great. The burger was awesome.
