I vote Hamilton, Hico is a neat little place and the KKK is a good place to eat but, that throws us way north of the route going south. I'm game for 281 or 16 no prob.
Hobo- sounds good for the Hillsboro thing cause it a straight shot to Hamiliton. Matter of fact, if everyone would consider or at least think about Hillsboro area for a meet up would be a good spot. It's a straight shot for Ice and Bird to head on a slab south from Dallas and Chad and Snake can back road, pick up Hobo and come on across. Is Torque and Hangman running too?
Yawl think about it and put your .02 in.
Chad - I rode to Austin afew weeks ago on Sunday to see my sis and bro-in-law and the ride back on the slab that afternoon was a tough MF'er from the traffic. 18's and a bunch of blind idoits  :-\ Just a little info I thought I thru in.
Dan- I hadn't forgotten about you, just stay tuned to see what get's posted. I Cris coming too?

Hey, the brainstorming is going great.  Anywhere is find.  I guess right now it's between Hamilton and Hillsboro to meet up.  My vote is Hamilton at the Koffee Kup restaurant and KSU is 12:30pm.  That will give everyone plenty of time to organize and get there from wherever they are coming from.  I don't think I'll do the Thursday night ride.  Might have to just get into Fredericksburg and get settled in.  I have to pick up keys to the house I rented, etc.

iceman, the Koffee Kup is in Hico... :), however...

I'm leaving tomorrow morning, (Thursday), for Bandera for a nice long mental health week. Anybody wanna go? Anyway, I'm taking the route I posted earlier, which will take me through Hamilton. I'll see if I can find a place we could meet there if that's what we decide on. Of the three places mentioned, Hamilton seems, (so far), to be the most reasonable as far as KSU, but I'm game for anything.

According to Google... ;D, KSU times for a 3:00 pm arrival would be:
Hillsboro - 11:00 am
Hico - 12:00 noon
Hamilton - 12:30 pm

I'll be back Monday night.

Hamilton looks good to me!! Looking at the map pretty much straight shot across to Athens then to Corsicana to Clinton then Hamilton. Hey like I said all is good as long as I get to Freddysberg in one piece on Thursday!!  ;D ;D   Looks like so far going on Thursday is Hangman, Minicop, Snake, Torque and myself ( VTXChad) ;D

Oops, right coffee shop, wrong town.  I vote for Hamilton with a KSU of 12:30PM.  That will give everyone plenty of travel time from wherever they are coming from.

Hooter,
We'll probably take the 67 and 281 route down that direction.

Due to some job changes I had to cancel my reservations at Econo and was just wondering where your staying. Muffy couldn't remember the name of the place. ???????
