I guess everyone was out riding. I did Carlos twice, once on Saturday and then again on Sunday. Both times I went up 149 through the National Forest but Sunday coming back we went 3090. It's not a daunting as I remembered it and the last time I rode it was on a sport bike. Guess more experience and a LOT more miles under my belt I have just become that much better of a rider. Yay me!
Got burned Saturday but Sunday was fully covered....still have a nice pink glow this morning.
What did you do that kept you off this site?

Becky and I rode to Onalaska and back Saturday

I logged in but didn't post anything.
I too have been on some roads that at one point seemed daunting but no longer...although this one stretch still feels pretty good especially when going around those curves at 60+
You been on this stretch Scott?

What are you doing next weekend? I want to hit some of that area and still don't really know it that well. That road is pretty short though....9.6 mile stretch.

Ya know...I think I may just to a solo exploratory ride Saturday and see what I can get into between here and LaGrange. I used to drive all over the place when I was a kid, maybe I'll jog a memory or two.

I might join you. That stretch is short but there is more to it. It just this part is the most technical.

Can't go Saturday, no Texans game on Sunday so maybe a good day for a ride. Got to see what the wife says.
