Adopt a Hero for Christmas - Ride to BAMC
Saturday December 15, 2007

I will be at Holiday Inn/Shell station at I-10 and Walden Rd. at 5 AM, depart at 5:20, then meet in
Katy.
I did this ride last year, and it is one of the best!

Staging - Texas Cycle Leathers
1129 Mason Road, Katy, Texas (281) 829-9230

DIRECTIONS: Travel south from Katy Freeway (I-10) on Mason Rd for
1.5 miles. Texas Cycle Leathers is on the left (east) behind the Shipley Donuts
Staging begins at 7:00 AM -- Kickstands Up at 8:00 AM

We are going rain or shine. If rain, then bring automobiles. If the turnout
is large we will depart in separate smaller groups, each a few minutes apart.

We will travel from Katy to The American Legion in Converse, Texas.
During this trip we will stop once for fuel. After a break for food and
refreshments we will deliver the gifts to our soldiers and their families at the
Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas
and will spend the day with them.

Important protocol for entering a military base:

All Participants
No Firearms, it is a felony to enter a military base with a firearm.
If you are stopped at the gate or on base you must produce
a current license and insurance card

Motorcycle Rider and Passenger must each have...
Helmet
Eye protection
Long Sleeves
Full finger gloves
Boots

Important: We need you to RSVP if you plan to attend.
Please call "Honda Bob" LeClair at (281) 584-2541, or email me, Duane Frasier, at:

Let us know if you wish to carpool, many folks are asking about doing so

This is an event not to miss, folks. To bring some Christmas joy to our heros
and their families is a special honor. We discovered last year that often times
the gift giver ends up themselves receiving something very precious.
