We still going to ride

On the opposite end, like in Kenny's "Sprang Thang" the first event only a couple showed up.  This year maybe 30 showed or put in an appearance.  Next year will probably be even bigger.

The Wednesday MnGs started with only about 5 people.  Look at it now!


What I am saying is - don't give up on this.  It is a great idea.  Keep at it.

Thanks for all your hard work on this.  Looking forward to the make up date.

I posted many ride where only a handful respond and more show up. Hey even if 1 shows up I'm still riding. Only cancel if it is pouring rain before I leave the house. I am pretty sure the first day we rode together not everyone posted.

A couple of us northerners were talking about going Tuesday night we just hadn't finalized anything it yet.

To Pete's other point our first Powder Puff there were 5 hottest day in August, this spring there were 8, 5 others that really wanted to go but had bike issuses. Some of them are asking to do a fall ride now.

Meet at WalMart Parking lot behind IHOP.
( WalMart is located on Hwy 45 and Hwy 1764 Next to Gulf Grey Hound Park,
 La Marque, Tx)

I will be there, still have to get a hold of my neighbor since I work nights to see if he was still going to go.

I have no idea where I am going, I just know I will be there hopefully by 9:30 AM.
Will have to check to see how long it will take from Cypress, TX, will probably leave around 8:30 and this will determine how fast I ride. ( I'm not one who likes to be behind cagers or in traffic with them).

Boggie open the ride back up and lets just get er done and kick it off right.........

I just got home from work and I gotta tell you, my ears have been burning all day, then I see all these responses and I guess I was wrong.

 Let's do the BBR as planned. I will be at the meeting site as posted.

 

I really wanted to take the ride, My wife and son are on the Santa Fe band trip and I just didn't want to ride alone.

I talked to Txcajun and if everyone wants, about 5 or 6 X riders will meet us at Cowboy Harley / Honda in Beaumont for lunch at Floyd's.
Beaumont is about 45 miles further down I-10. (from where we will end up.

Is this okay with you guy's?

       I have to work but just a reminder for all comming from north side of Houston both sides of I -45 will be closed both Saturday and Sunday so it WILL be a mess.This past weekend was bad so can imagine what it will be like this weekend.Have fun and ride safe

We will be there for sure I'm ready for this!  I didnt' take off for nothing!  And for though's that are coming from Houston area please take the detours to avoid the closure on Interstate 45.

Can't wait till we meet ya'll i'm excited.

I was thinking about taking 249 to 45 to 288 to 6 to 1764 back to 45
made me tired just typing it
what do you think about that route to get to the meeting place?

I don't know where Cypress is so you are on your own until you get to
hwy 6. I live 1 mile off of hwy 6 in Santa Fe.

I say go for it because traffic is going to be bad on 45 @ Clear Lake.

If you come down 6, go through Alvin towards Santa Fe. After you pass
Santa Fe High school  ( on the left ) go through the first red light (green) and stay in the left lane, the next light will be 1764
turn left, you will see Sonic on the left, Exxon on the right.
Just stay on 1764 ( 5 miles ) until you get to the dog track. Walmart is on the left of the track.

Go to the front of the WalMart parking lot behind IHOP.
We will be there,

It doesn't look like we will have to travel to Beaumont, so we will stick to the original plan.

We will decide on a lunch location as we come to it.

Dwayne, our Honda Red Riders group is taking a ride this morning if you want to join us.  Be there by 9:45, kickstands up at 10:00.

What a great day,
The Boogie Beach Run was a big success.
7 Bikes 9 riders.

There's nothing better than the roar of a bunch of X's cruising down the highway.

I wonder how much sole Kyle has left on his boot's after his little Boot Scoot Boogie down I-10.  ( Dragging both feet at 75 mph. ) 
I don't think you should do that again with those boot's.
 
 The food at Al T's was pretty good also.
They didn't have a table for 8 but they did have
2 tables for 4 ( Side by Side )  I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Thank's to all that rode, I had a great time.
